On May 20th Daryl Hall and John Oates will be honored as BMI Icons at their 56th Annual Pop Awards. It’s about damn time!
I think seeing Hall and Oates at the Beacon a year and a half ago may have been one of the most entertaining I’ve ever experienced. I don’t know if it was that Jon, Josh, Alex and I were the youngest people there by at least 15 years, the old lady bitch fight in the balcony or the fat kid wearing a “START SNITCHING” (yes START snitching) but it was phenomal.
Oh, sidenote, and my dad and John Oates might as well be twins.
